Kanika streeft ernaar maatschappelijk verantwoord te ondernemen. Dit komt tot uiting in haar producten door ze te laten voldoen aan de 5 kenmerken. Daarnaast streeft de organisatie naar respect voor en continuïteit en transparantie naar alle betrokken partijen.
Kanika kiest bewust om met producentgroepen uit minder ontwikkelde landen samen te werken. Door de producent minimaal een keer per jaar persoonlijk te bezoeken, bouwt de organisatie aan een duurzame relatie. Ze biedt de producent o.a. ondersteuning bij productontwikkeling. Door haar handelen wil de organisatie haar steentje bijdragen aan de bevordering van de levensomstandigheden van producenten in minder ontwikkelde landen.

Kanika strives to as high a degree as possible of corporate social responsability. This is expressed in that the products have the five characteristics. In addition, the organisations strives to respect continuity and transparency for all involved parties.
Kanika consiously chooses to work with producer groups from less developed countries. By visiting the producer personally at least once a year, the organisation builds on a lasting relation. It offers the producer, among other things, assistance for product development. Through its acting, the organisation wants to contribute to the improvment of the livingconditions of producers in less developed countries.
